Clottey being called "unimpressive" tonight is a fuccin travesty!

what leads you to believe this? I never saw Judah legitmately hurt for people to be saying this. Judah did not look like he was on the way out at all.

 

boxing is the name of the game guys..as far as that goes clottey is pretty damn good

Clottey is ok but lacks that something extra to be a great fighter.

Cotto is not 10X better than Clottey and he isn't stronger either. Clottey has a few big advantages over Cotto that would give him a better shot against Margo. Number 1, he is in fact stronger than Cotto. Number 2, he's bigger than Cotto. Number 3, he has a much better chin than Cotto. Number 4, his defense is better than Cotto's.

 

You're confusing punching power with strength. Cotto is the bigger puncher, but Clottey is stronger. If you notice, you didn't see Clottey getting pushed all over the ring against Margo like Cotto did.

Margo's body shots weren't really affecting Clottey either. Clottey was actually doing more damages with his punches. After the fight, Margo's head was all swollen and Clottey looked like he had never even fought. Clottey is a very hard guy to hurt.

Margo threw a shitload of punches. However, he wasn't landing all that much. This is a stupid argument anyway. Both Cotto and Clottey have already fought Margo and Clottey clearly did better. Clottey did better despite injuring his hands and having his activity drop off dramatically after the 4th round. We can go back and forth all day, it really doen't matter. It looks like these two will be fighting again in Nov. So they'll be able to settle it in the ring.

 

Don't get him started BigReg. He's under the delusion that Clottey stopped throwing after round 4 because Margo hurt him badly with blows to the body in round 4 and Clottey couldn't handle it...

 

Yeah, that must be it. Clottey was hurt to the body and decided to save face by complaining to his corner about his had after the 4th. It's amazing that everyone wants to give Cotto all this credit for getting beat into submission against Margo. However, they give Clottey hardly any credit for giving Margo a much tougher fight. Hell, Williams gets less props than Cotto and he actually won against Margo.
