It's always some excuse from Clottey on his performance.Margo beats the living **** out of Clottey in a rematch.
I'd like to see Kermit Cintron get a shot a regaining his IBF title against JC. It would be a great fight for both Clottey & Cintron.
Cintron just got destroyed in his last fight, and he really hasn't beaten anyone of note. He needs to get a good win or two under his belt before he gets another shot at a world title.
I think Cintron is headed for the role of gate-keeper / tune-up fighter. I don't see a Clottey - Cintron fight being very competitive.
I hear that, But Quintana got a similar beatdown by Cotto & we saw what he did next. it's a good either test for Clottey or a perfect oppertunity for Kermit to get back into the mix. (+ I'd like to see what Cintron's power can do against an opponent not named Antonio Margarito)
Quintana at least won a couple of fights before he got his title shot. And he only go that shot after, how ironic, Cintron pulled out of the Williams' fight(as did his replacement, Judah). Clottey has just as good of a chin as Margo, and better defense. Cintron's power would be equally ineffective against Clottey. Aside from his power, Cintron has nothing to offer. He would almost certainly lose to Clottey. Furthermore, there's no interest in seeing him fight(he was even dropped my his promotional company).
:think Alright bro, I'll chill with the "Killer" talk, for now.... (****ed up if his promo team dropped him tho)
Clottey looked none to impressive against Judah in my eyes, especially when Judah turned up the pressure. Margarito is going to walk away with this belt. Well I hope Williams could get something together with Berto.
