All this talk that he has no chance is an absolute joke. The rematch would be a VERY good fight. He was winning the first fight until he hurt his hand and walked through everything Margo threw.

I thought Judah fought very well tonight, better than I expected. Clottey was breaking him down and that fight was headed towards a TKO anyways when that wicked uppercut opened that cut on Judah. I give Judah a lot of credit as Clottey is a force.

The Welters are f'in stacked right now. :good

I am sure Margarito will beat him due to feeling that he is the top WW after beating Cotto. There is no way he will beat Margarito the way he fought Zab. Margarito went to a higher level to beat Cotto and he will stay at that level for a while.

Margo looked much worse last week than Clottey looked tonight.

Two problems for Clottey, 1) he doesn't let his hands go enough, he's a waiter, 2) he's a ****ing crybaby with a **** attitude. Was he wimpering to the ref about that HIP SHOT that Judah landed? Trying to act like it was right on the cup. Pure bull**** from a straight liar.

besides Clottey not letting his hands go, he has problems with his hands

he injured them vs Margarito the first time

what's saying that can't happen again in a rematch with Marg?

    Dude, this is horrible logic.

Beating Cotto somehow elevated his game?

What's that, like some "drinking the blood of your enemies makes you stronger" type of Conan the barbarian ****?

Your right and the welters have a chance to be remebered as a great era if the top fight each other in memorable battles as Cotto and marg did last sat.

On a dif. note, I too think it is a joke when people say Clottey has no chance with marg, but i still feel Marg is too active for a clottey who has shown stamina issues. Clottey has a really good chance vs tony but tony is too damn active for a clottey. Clottey is a fighter that will make anyone look bad...by the way Clottey had a bruised knuckle and its not like he broke his hand or anything. Margo went in the fight with a messed up ankle and his hand was also injured and much more swollen than Clotteys bruised knuckle. I dont want to make much more of that fight but take it for what it was.Clottey effectively counter puching and margo out working Clottey

BS, watch the first fight between them. Margarito will do nothing different. If Clottey doesn't injury his hands, he beats Margarito atleast 8-4 rounds :yep

No but CONFIDENCE does enhance a fighters game. Aside from that i feel margo is the type of fighter who rises to the ocassion or event. I wouldn't get all over anybody for thinking Clottey would beat him but marg has the odds on his side

I'm all aboard this train. In there first fight I scored it 6-6 and that's impressive considering Clottey hurt his hand and essentially stopped throwing the left after the 4th round. He has the type of defence to nullify Marg's pressure offense. Clottey's patience and sharp counter punches is exactly the type of style that can be most effective against the Margarito's wreckless relentlessness.
