I wouldnt be suprised to see him try to pressure Pac. This is a BIG fight for him. Against the number one p4p fighter on the biggest stage he'll ever be on...unless he wins. So dont be shocked if he tries something new. Will it work? Thats a whole other story.

i don't even think clottey will make weight for this fight with all the trainer crap. anyway, i think he'll attack, it's the only way he knows how to fight is to come forward, but that'll most likely be his downfall aswell. theres a reason roach wanted clottey.

Agreed. It'd be a bad idea for him to get into exchanges with Pacquiao. Especially if he will be out of his element and style doing so. If he does that, I'd have to change my pick from Pacquiao UD to Pac KO.

Nah, he will be pretty much like he is in all of his other fights.

Maybe he'll try for awhile, but when things get rough most fighters have a tendency to revert to their usual form/style.

I'm not sure either approach is going to work for him, really. If he tries to be offensive he's not going to be fast enough to deal with Pacquiao's hand and foot speed. (Clottey's hand speed isn't bad, but his movement is bad and he's up against one of the best in the business in both of those categories.) If he turtles as he did for certain rounds in the Cotto fight, Pacquiao will score points beating on his guard.

Jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab
.....all fight long......throw in the occasional hard right hand to keep Pac thinking twice about lunging in full force......

......anything other than that, and especially if he becomes as offensive as he claims he will be, and Clottey will suffer the same fate Cotto did.

Pacroid can brawl all night........prevent the brawl and he can be outboxed.

YES. That's what Clottey usually do, always coming forward covered with his turtle shell defense. Highly offensive? Yes if you call that as offense.

    Makes sense. Consider:

Do you think he will win a decision?? No way

Do you think he is going to stand there and deflect every single one of Pac's combos and then land a KO punch? No, he hasn't got huge power

He has to grind Pac down. He has to do to Pac what Margarito did to Cotto. With his chin and defense it is a possibility, but he is going to get busted up trying. Margarito took a terrible beating against Cotto, without losing that is.
