Clottey: Cotto will be running like that nobody Jennings if we fight

When have you ever seen Clottey stop anyone of note. He couldnt even stop shot blown up jr lightweight in Chico, the same Chico who was ko'd by Castillo at lightweight.atsch

 

Yeah, hes somebody alright... The somebody who got stopped by Miguel Cotto...

 

He should still have some respect for fellow boxers, as should you as a boxing fan. If Jennings is a nobody as you blatantly state in the thread title what does that make you ?

 

Somebody who would beat the **** out of you as well.

 

i've got cotto in this one. he's gonna outbox clottey. clottey's gonna stand still and put the earmuffs on and i just can't see him pulling it out. i was highly unimpressed with his performance against a much smaller/weaker judah.

 

Nice! I like Joshua. They don't seem to give him any kind of respect, and that includes his own promoter, Bob Arum. So a bit of war of words could only help him.

I thought the interview was very funny. He also called Cintron a *****, so how can you not like the guy?

 

not to mention, clottey's pressure is NOTHING like margarito's. all he does is hop forward from time to time with his gloves up and he doesn't throw near as many punches.

I saw it as well and have the same impression of Clottey as you do. I can't blame him for talking a little reckless because he's a hungry fighter and Arum for some reason doesn't want to feed him.

You probably never even saw or heard of Jennings until he fought Cotto lol...

It appears that this fight will happen....Cotto said if they fight he will win...he will do everything possible and will come home with the victory.

Lets see what Clottey's tone is after they sign....if he continues to talk it up then...he is either overconfident or lacks in confidence.

 

Well, let him talk trash and have fans feel sorry for him due to not getting the fights he wants. In the end, he will get Cotto and have another L on his record. Poor guy, he has a belt around his waist that fighters die for. Jennings is not a nobody. You don't step on other boxers who just lost a fight to promote your sorry ass. Maybe, Cintron can do the same when Clottey loses to Cotto. It is uncalled for. I don't mind trash talk, but stupidity is something else. Viva for Clottey's cause....money and respect.

 

Don't read well huh? I never said Jennings wasn't a nobody did I? What I was gettin at is how is Clottey gonna critique his resume or who he's fighting when his resume isn't even half as good as Cotto's
