Clottey: Cotto will be running like that nobody Jennings if we fight

Except Clottey dont throw the kind of leather that Shane does. Shane actually throws. CLottey covers up too much. I'm telling you that is the difference between a loss and a win for Clottey, not letting his hands go enough.

 

Cotto fans ignore this...

Zab had his ass hurt. And Cotto resorted to two low blows, conveniently around the time when Zab was kickin his ass. Clottey never felt **** from Zab. Not even close.

 

Miguel is a very good pressure fighter with pop. I'll go with Cotto in this match-up. Clottey can get outworked and the Boriqua has the power, smarts and good mixture of punches to keep Joshua honest.

 

You people make me laugh with this low blow stuff. Its a fight, not a love contest. Duran, Holy and Hopkins did some of the dirtiest **** in boxing and they are h.of. fighters. Hop said you have to do what it takes to win a fight. But since its Cotto thats does it Iguess its wrong.

 

Zab is a very talented elite 140 #er. Cotto has grown into a legit and elite welterweight. Miguel was just too much for the Brooklynite. Yes, Super Judah had success, but styles make fights. Power and aggression with a good chin causes Clottey to rethink his gameplan...rewatch his match with MArgarito.

 

Clottley covers up with very good, tight and effective "D"....but he's also someone who can counter with sharp and powerful offense. Stylewise Clottley has an advantage over Cotto along with size and physical strength which is why Josh wins...which is why Marg would win again...with or without the questionable wraps. And again...I'm not knocking Cotto...he's a very good, young and capable champion. I just call it like I see it.

 

So you are basically admitting he had to low-blow his way out of the Zab fight.

Zab ****in Super Judah... The same dude who got his wig split ****in with Clottey.

Cotto had to lowblow his way out of trouble and you still think he's the greatest **** since sliced bread.

 

I have to agree with u...I don't know why Clottey is reluctant to let his hands go more...confidence issues? stamina? He really dissappoints me bcuz he such a talent. Clottey has amazing speed, not good but great skills and a very vary tight defense...He should spar with Ike Quartey and learn some agression, or maybe u can't teach that

Who was the opposition? Cause if the fighter was not someone Clottey had to worry about then I can see him doing this. But I believe he will cover up way too much against Cotto. Thats my oppinion.

Cotto is good, like I said. But to say he will walk over Clottey, when there has never been any indication that he can, is delusional. Cotto better stick to Jennings if he wants to walk over people.

 

Listen here little boy blue, no one says Cotto will walk over Clottey, I said he wins a UD. Low blows in boxing is nothing new, its been around since the days of Jack Johnson. All great fighters at one time or another land low blows. Tryin to say Cotto does it on purpose is just plain stupid. You have to understand that when your bread and butter is the body punch, every now and then a low blow will land. Try to remember that the next time you watch fighters who go to the body alot.

 

He's telling the truth. Cintron didn't really wanna fight him, and he will skill Cotto.

I think your wrong. Cotto is better skillwise then CLottey. Class is about to show if they square off.
