I agree with this. He could have taken more risks. But it is easy for us to criticize as bystanders when we aren't Clottey and weren't in the ring with pac last night. Like I said, with his style and mindset, and what he was facing, maybe it's all he could do at the time.
Pac hits hard enough that Clottey was not going to open up, no way no how. He was more concerned with not getting KO'd then winning the fight. BTW, Lampley is getting downright painful to listen to. That bang bang bang **** was a new low.
If he had a gun! how the **** can you say he could have won when he got schooled by the grand master a guy that loves what he is doing and anyone saying that clottey could have won is talking out of their ass hole...:huh
How can you be frustrated with clottey if you have followed his fights thats the way he has always fought and remember you can't change the strips on a zebra.
one of the worst threads of the day yes... based on a few minutes here and there, clottey could have won the fight lol. Clottey would never beat pac in any fight in any time, with a bat, with his family as judges lol.... whatever Clottey does pac would do more.
you haters are jokes... just ignorant jokes, no real fan of boxing would think that Pac wasn't anything other than impressive last night.
Exactly! We already knew beforehand that Clottey is'nt a highworkrate type of guy, and he only lets his hands go when the other fighter has done so first and needs a rest. Pacquiao it seems nowdays never reaches a point where he's winded.......thus Clottey never attempted to mount a real attack. My dissapointment with Clottey is that he did'nt go for broke in a situation where he had lost virtually every round. .......but thats why Clottey has lost every important fight of his career.....he does'nt have the mettle to dig deep and take a chance.
