Clottey has a good chin which is why i was shocked he didnt take a few more chances... the few times he got hit clean it didnt even phase him. Where were the counter shots? Why not try and bully Pac? He could have tried to pull Pac into a brawl and try his luck just once

The only way clottey had a chance was to open up way more and throw al ot more punches. But if he did that he'd put himself at risk even more, and he'd get f'ed up. Guarantee it.

He did about as good as he could do.

Clottey said it days before the fight, "I'm not going to end up like the others."

......and there were people in this forum who took that as if Clottey was already handing the fight to Pacquiao......turns out they were pretty close.

Just hate it when a fighter does'nt even give himself a chance.

No he couldn't. There's a reason he didn't open up and was forced to late, too many punches from Pac up and down in unpredictable fashion. He couldn't open up, even with him in that turtle defense Pac was constantly throwing and landing in between, Clottey didn't have an answer for that since Pac kept moving. Pac just never gave him the positioning to throw something hard enough, whenever he threw a few right hands Pac would fire back with 4 to 6, too much activity for him to open up. Late he decided to go for broke knowing he was losing big and knowing Pac was slightly tired as well.
