Considering how Manny brutalized and manhandled his last few opponents (just look at some of their post fight pictures) did Clottey really do that badly?

Manny hardly hit him flush once and had a small swelling under his right eye.

I can understand the frustration of of fans seeing Clottey fight with the intention of not getting knocked out but against such a fast and savage fighter like Manny can you really blame such a tactic. Its either shell up or be KTFO, and you never know if he shells up he might just get some joy in the later rounds.

That didnt happen and even his corner were getting frustrated.

Shame becuase after the 2 rounds it looked like Clottey might be able to come into it once Manny tired.

I'm still glad Manny won though and cant wait to see him and floyd square off.

clottey was as effective as he generally is, it's just that he was getting outthrown by a huge margin, and he was fighting a guy really special.

He could have shown more heart and courage to make it a tougher fight, but I don't think it's in him to do that. It's the same reason he gave the Cotto fight away.

he trained not to get Knocked out in training camp instead of training to win.

Another shitty fight. Mayweather pot shots to a boring UD against Clottey.

Neither of these guys should be wasting their time with this ****ing clown. Clottey was a ****ing gate keeper for Christ's sake. What a ****ing sham and anybody who supports Pacquiao's choice of an opponent is a huge ****ing dick sucker.

Clottey didn't do alright. He was mediocre at best. He COULD have "done alright", but because he was content to simply survive, nah...at least Hatton and Cotto fought back. Hell, even Diaz fought back.
