Clottey has a good shot at the upset

Clottey isn't active enough, doesn't open up enough, and he'll be spending too much time with his high guard trying to block Manny's shots. If Clottey used that high guard in combination with footwork, torso movement, and countering, he'd be hard to beat. But, he doesn't do that. He stands right there, with his guard high, blocking punches. Basically, he could be a lot better.

 

Clottey is a dangerous fighter. A fighter Void will never fight. Void would not fight Cotto, Mosely, Margarito and who knows who else.

Hes a come forward plodder with shell defence, whos very strong and durable who will push a fighter but rarely has what it takes to push them over the edge and get the victory.

 

I was coming in to write this exact thing. I'll add in that Manny is going to really go to work on the body in this one.

I actually don't think the pac-pbf fight is dead yet, so I hope we don't find out how Manny v Clottey turns out.

 

Manny is going to find that Clottey should have been left alone in peace.

In otherwords, if Clottey goes all out at 100% maximum, you could argue he's potentially better than Cotto.
