So if Mayweather-Pacquiao can happen in lets say October, you would fully support Mayweather's call for blood testing since he did it to a previous opponent?

And Pacquiao said he was cool right up until the fight, then a week out, then 30 days, then 24 once he got busted by 24/7, now he's at 20. the man has issues with telling the truth or doing math.

Yeah, Pacquiao retiring will somehow improve the credibility and popularity of the sport of boxing. :patsch

Considering he's never failed a test and is an ATG, good luck getting others to drink from that toilet.

Win or lose Pac goes on to stay a great and Joshua has to build a legacy of his own. A loss doesn't erase a fighter's whole body of work yet a win adds to it.

In fact apparently he didn't pass some of them But this is another story :). It's true that the biggest haters are going to bash Pac no matter what. But for example I'm more or less neutral fan and I'm a lot more suspicious of Pac now than before refusing to take the tests. And his excuses were very strange to say at least.

No matter who wins tonight the sport will gain a little from it. If Clottey wins however more heads will turn and that may bring in a few more fans.

upsets do not help boxing. I don't think anyway. It makes the public think that even the fighters which boxing builds up are just overrated. Clottey wins it does not help boxing. What helps boxing is great fights like Hagler/Hearns. If Clottey and Pacman had an exciting fight it would do great things for boxing, but a win for Clottey will just be excuses for Pacman that he was too small or uninspired or beyond his peak etc.

I love Freddie, but I wish he would just STFU and not do any interviews or boxing-related public speaking at all aside from press conferences and 24/7s (and even then, keep his talk strictly about his fighters' training).

The constant drama is kind of taxing on how likable he is -it'd be a shame to get sick of such a nice guy because he can't help always stirring up shitstorms.

    I suppose it did. :nut

However the initial shame after having realized that I missed your point was short lived once I read your logic on why you think a loss to Clottey will keep Pac from retiring.

I am of the opinion that neither Pac or Mayweather will walk away from the sport for good until a fight between the two takes place. The demand is far to great for me not to consider the prospects of this mega fight to be anything other than inevitable and I really don't understand why anyone else should feel differently.
