It will be terrible for boxing if he wins. That's some idiotic thread title unless you're a butthurt Hatton fan.

Hope he dont retire Manny is good for the sport even though I honestly feel he is on the juice. I'm a fan of his and hope he wins tonight and sets up a Floyd fight. Though I feel Floyd will win this is the best fight to be made and if Pac wins in Dallas it will advance the sport

No, Pacquiao isn't retiring after a win over Clottey. A fighter claiming he'll retire soon is about as surprising as a Charlie Sheen arrest.

Why are boxing fans so gullible?

Look at the ticket sales for this bull**** fight. That will tell you exactly why they walked away from Mayweather negotiations.

And that bit about being his last fight is nothing but a ruse to **** with Mayweather. He isn't retiring. He's fighting in a sold out Cowboy stadium.

Boxing business as usual. Stick it up the fans assholes so far you can pull the gold from their teeth.

**** hatton, got nothing to do with the fat mug.

Because, genius, you asked a question that's been answered a hundred times or more on here.

People who assume Pac is on roids because he refused Mayweather's request for special testing requirements simply prove how easy it is to fool the masses.

Mayweather began an unsubstantiated smear campaign against Pac, accusing him of PEDs with no concrete or even speculative evidence except for what his father said in one of his rambling interviews.

So he demanded a NEW condition that was unprecedented. Pac refused, he said because he believes the tests would weaken him for the fight. Roach echoed this, but also added that he wouldn't submit to Mayweather's demands, since May is known for using distracting tactics to gain advantage before fights. However, it doesn't matter why Pac refused -- it was his right to do so and the decision doesn't mean anything.

So to the question: Why doesn't Pac simply submit to Mayweather's requests to shut him up? Why should he? Why submit to performing a series of unprecedented tests because your opponent makes an accusation with no merit? Using this logic, Mayweather could accuse Pac of ANYTHING, and if Pac doesn't prove him wrong, he must be guilty. Classic smear campaign tactics.

The problem with that response is that most posters on here, including the rather confused thread starter (see his opening ramblings) can't grasp the logic here.

And even if you explained it in greater detail, with examples and analogies etc, even if you PROVED it mathematically, some dolt would ask the same question again in a week or less.

You're flogging a dead horse here.

Floyd is just scared to face Pac.

    Simple as that.
