"I don't know how Cotto is coming to fight... If he he's going to stand there. If he's going to stand there, I'm going to look for the body shots - both of us (will be looking for the body shots). I think I can take Cotto's body shots - I don't know if he can take mine. I am the more durable fighter, and I am strong. I will be more than strong... This is the fight. I am going to do something extraordinary."

Clottey tends to take breaks during rounds. That will be his downfall in this fight. Cotto by stoppage.

Cotto will stop him late or win a clear decision,Clotey is good but not good enough to beat Coto.

Anyone care to explain how you think Cotto not only breaks through the impenetrable shell, but also cracks the unbreakable dome made of african ivory?

After the fight you will realize you were sounding like crackheads

of course he is going to say **** like this, they always do....

Clottey is not a huge puncher, and if he starts to reach down low to the body, he is going to get tagged hard with counter punches ....

This should be an entertaining fight, but honestly Cotto is going to win 117-111 or more

Glad you were being honest about it. Wouldn't want a false result from the fight that hasn't taken place yet.

First off its hardly an Impenetrable shell , and he doesn't need to KO Clottey to win..

Clottey doesn't have great power, is not much of a pressure fighter and goes through stints of inactivity....

Cotto is a sharper puncher , faster , more skilled , has better footwork and will win this fight. I don't believe he will KO clottey, he is as tough as they come, but Cotto is for real... and will show that he still belongs amongst the best P4P and that his loss was only a fluke loss to a larger , cheating *******.

Delusion. Hopefully the Bookies take your interpretation.

This faster hands thing is a myth. And its not that everyone is overrating Cotto's speed, he has good speed. Its that Clotteys speed is being grossly underrated by some, including yourself. I don't see the speed difference as big advantage to either fighter.

Unfortunately Clottey is a pressure fighter, he doesn't box and move, but he walks you down. He's no Margarito, but hes style IS to apply pressure. People seem to be under the impression that he is Winky Wright and stays in his shell.

And sharper punches? Again, underrating Clottey, hes one of the crispest punchers in the division. The reason he gets KO's is not because of his power (which is decent but nothing to write home about) but because of how cleanly his punches lands. His speed and accurate are on par with the elite fighters of the division, as you will see come June.

Clottey must be "Clottey" for the entire full 12 rds of this fight.... (No let up's)
By that I mean try & emulate the Margarito pressure But with Clottey style aggression.

Once/If Cotto see's ever see's Clottey let up or begin to just sit there & cover up..
It will be Miguel's time to do what he does best.

Unless of course someone scores an unexpected early K.O.
Which throws everyone's predictions to ****.

Delusion? I am a fan of both Clottey and Cotto , you're the one touting Clottey and nuthugging him... if anyone is delusional or bias its you.

Clottey is a good fighter , and I agree he is underrated ... he does punch sharp and he does have good hand speed.. but Cotto is fairly better in both of these catergories and also is more accurate.

You're making a fool out of yourself calling people "crackheads" for thinking Cotto will win.... sure Clottey has a chance to win, but Cotto has a great chance to win as well. With such moronic statements it only goes to show that you are unable to be objective on this matter and only are a Clottey Fanboy....

I mean just watch how Cotto used his sharp combanation punching / accuracy to land on Margarito ..... Clottey did not do the same. And Margarito isn't exactly difficult to hit.

Jose Luis Cruz is complete garbage and was able to dig his left hook below Clottey's elbow and hit his ribs.... Christ what do you think Cotto will do?

look at the zab judah fight against clottey.......then imagine the 1st 4/5 rounds being mirrored except going on until the 9/10 and by that stage clottey will be too far behind to win and cotto too smart to be stopped by him, thats my call anyway

Listen, you will never hear me say anything other then Cotto is a great fighter. Hes proven and hes talented.

The crackhead remark isn't about Cotto predictions to win.. theres a good chance it happens (though I don't think it does myself), and no doubt it will be the bookies most likely calculated outcome. Its the KO predictions. Clottey has an iron chin and has never even been shaken, much less KDed or KOed. Therefore it takes the imagination of Jack Prescott or alternatively someone on crack to come to that conclusion.

Glad you brought up Margarito. What did Clottey do in rounds 1-4 in your eyes? Was he matching handspeed with Margarito or something? No. He was landing clean crisp, faster punches at will until the injury. Also since were on this topic, again, Clottey survived Margarito fine W/ injury, and Margarito through a record punches in that fight. Cotto gave his best but could not last all 12.

And if cheating is going to be brought up, well then lets bring it up. I am on the fence that thinks Margarito cheated vs Cotto. Cotto's face was rivaling Luis Resto's IMO. By the same token, going with Margarito's history and damage to his opponents I feel it can be argued Margarito cheated vs Clottey. He wasn't landing to his face, but his body and arms. What happened to his arms? Injury.

Ur wrong to say that clottey did not do the same to margarito about combination punching he did until he injured both hands. clottey is definetly one of the best combination punchers in the division, only thing when he has his opponent hurt he seems to rush and lose some composure.
