If one is to cast suspicion it shouldn't be based on physique. For some guys who have amazing genes it's actually easy to get ripped just by working out. The sticking point for me is how he's knocked out supposedly bigger men. I do believe all four of his last opponents are tailor made for him so it doesn't surprise me he got the stoppage. But these guys have been just completely battered. Before a fight with Pac I don't recall anyone giving Oscar a brutal punishment. Even a roided Vargas couldn't do what Pac did to Oscar's face. That's just one example. David Diaz looked like he could've died in the ring. Hatton was never previously knocked out cold. Cotto's face hadn't looked like that since he was pounded by more than likely loaded gloves.

When I was training on that diet, I was stronger than I had ever been. Whether that would have translated to punching power, I'd never know because I had quit boxing at that point.

With the exception of Hatton, Pacquiao beat guys with accumulation of damage, not pure power. I'd say Cotto, Bailey and Judah hits harder. Oscar admitted that he wished Pacquiao would have knocked him out but Pacquiao just didn't have the power. Even Diaz said he was not bothered with his power but his speed. Its like being slapped 60 times a round, your face will be hamburger by the 6th round.

Hatton, IMO, was mentally not all there and just walked into a punch that perhaps any of the top 10 welterweights would have KO'd him with. If someone lke Bailey hit him with that kind of shot, Hatton would still be out.

    This is nothing new.

If you look back at Pacquiao's career, he has been brutally beating up almost everybody he has faced.
