Shouldnt this fight be on a PPV?

Correct me if I am wrong, but Williams is scheduled to fight his opponent on HBO's BAD on Nov. 29. Would a unification fight still be on regular HBO?

Williams vs Clottey is a WCB caliber fight. Great fight though, but in terms of drawing power, PPV would be a bust. And Goosen doesn't have the kind of pull to organize his own PPVs the way Arum, King, and GBP do.

funny thing here, even if Paul avoids fighting Clottey........Margo still avoided fighting Paul. This changes nothing, it only makes Margo fans feel better...

However I think that it may be a bit of posturing on Clottey's part being that he injuried his hand in the Judah fight last month and was suppose to be out of training for three to four months which leaves him no time to train for the fight in November. We'll see. I dont think that William would not take a fight with Clottey, If Williams wins he should be number 1 :yep

Clottey is pretty much cornering Williams here. Williams has no better option for Nov. 29, he almost has to take on Clottey, or look slightly reluctant.

If Williams takes on Clottey and wins convincingly he will have made a very very strong case to be undisputed #1 at 147. If he avoids Clottey, there will be questions. Many questions.

I thought Arum said he wouldn't do anything with Al Haymon???

Have they reconciled all of a sudden?

Clottey vs Williams would be a great fight to watch!
But if Clottey wins, then I assume everyone would like to see Clottey-Margarito next, which means we'd miss the chance to see a Margarito-Williams rematch....
Perplexed! Could there be a chance we'll see all of this fights sometime in the near future?

I hope he takes it. Clottey would make PW look so foolish. Clottey is a good boxer with a good chin and punch. I think he takes PW in a UD. and of course the fight would not happen since PW team knows that. They will do what they do best by calling out the top dog(Margarito or PBF) and avoiding the threats at WW.

I really hope Williams does not do that. While Margarito was calling out the bigger names, he still fought the contenders in the meantime. Williams should do the same.
