I really don't see this fight as being that interesting as, to me, it's going to be so one-sided. Clottey is tough, yes, but he will be soundly outboxed. He's out of his depth. The only time I've been convinced by him, was against Corrales and we all know that the version he fought wasn't a challenge at all.

I wouldn't be suprised if Jennings and Quintana gave Clottey a good fight, although they'd lose something like 7-5. Mosley would win and I know it's not all about "A beat B" etc., but I mention that because I do think there's a good difference in standard of the opposition Cotto is capable of beating, and Clottey.

If he doesn't stop him late, he'll win by 9-3 or something like that.

No way would Jennings beat Clottey, Quintana possibly but no way would Jennings.

    Yea Jennings does suck...

But Quintana could possible beat Clottey. Shyt he beat Williams once.

Jennings was fast as hell, handspeed and footspeed.....but yeah, he's completely unproven as a worldclass fighter

Cmon now your logic is ******ed. Your saying Clottey couldn't compete with Cottos opposition.
I like Cotto but his stamina and punch resistance will always hurt him.

They have common opponents in Margarito and Zab and you could say that Clottey fared better against those two guys or at least as well.

Zab won about 1 round against Cotto, and got bruttally stopped

Zab-Clottey was very close untill the fight went to the scorecards due to a "headbutt"....no way in hell did he beat Zab as bad as Cotto did

but, Cotto did lowblow him though.....but still, Cotto clearly did better against Zab

Just don't go betting the house with this prediction. Cotto is going to have his hands full. Stylistically all wrong for Cotto and the size WILL be a big factor.....stamina too. Josh will be pushing Cotto to work at a higher pace than he's use to. Jennings and Quintana wouldn't stand a chance against Josh.

Cotto did punish Zab and I was really just trying to point out the fights.

But in reality those two low blows were fight changers because early on Zab had Cotto clearly dizzy. I'm not sure how the fight would've turned if he didn't shoot for the nuts.

I guess Cotto is the favorite in this fight. I feel he will have to stay away from body punching because it may get him countered , IDK.

as a Judah fan, i can agree with this.....Zab has the perfect style to beat Cotto and even the right attributes, if he only had a brain and a workrate past round 4, i think he would of pulled it off

I can see Cotto out-boxing him... :bbb

But I think you really under-rate Clottey. :nono

He's a big tough welterweight with a very good chin, very solid defence and a strong will to win. (he weighed in at a rock solid 170lbs on fight night vs Coralles!)

This is no easy fight for Cotto... or any other WW out there for that matter.
