By the third round Clottey will be standing there with his gloves up and only throwing 20 punches per round.Cotto easy on points.

 

lmao its crazy how ppl underrate Cotto since Margarito.......

 

cotto should be training for this fight extra hard with more intensity than any other fight in his career... a loss to clottey could be very damaging for his future career in boxing... this fight is about going to the distance, and cotto has struggle finishing strong at the end... he should pace himself esp. since clottey is strong and has very good stamina, cotto could be in for a long one, if he doesnt take his training to another level... I would not be surprise if this fight goes to the distance and thats were cotto should watch out and train for...

seems like citron is staying light middle weights now or at least after he fights angula he will decide what weight class. im going for angula in that fight as well so maybe he will move back down.

 

I'll go with Miguel Cotto by UD. Clottey is a very tough fighter but when he covers up he usually don't let his hands go that frequently and we all know that if he stays in front of Cotto he will take a lot of body shots. Another plus for Cotto is that he has a great jab, his best weapon against Clottey.

 

correct me if i'm mistaken but corrales was down twice in the final round i believe and hurt numerous times and ended up with a broken jaw.

oh yeah and corrales though has been down in his fights has probably one of the biggest hearts in boxing. he was down 5 times or so vs mayweather and continued to fight until the corner stopped it.

cotto has alot of things but the ability to get up and not throw nut shots is one i have yet to see.

Should be a good match up. Close fight but I feel Clottey is very underrated on this board. and Cotto is extremely overrated.
