This fight is terrible. Sure Clottey is a tough, large welter. He is also all too often stationary and has prolonged stretches of inactivity in his fights. He does not have one punch knockout power which is a problem when you are as inactive as Clottey is. He has proven that he does not have the will to take over a fight when it is there to be won.

He has shown us enough to know that he will never beat an elite fighter. He will put up a solid, losing effort and make Pac work for his win, but he has zero chance of beating Manny. Pac should have signed to fight Bradley. If this is Pac's way of staying active for the Mosley/Berto winner than it is commendable. Otherwise, this is a pointless match.

I'm sick of seeing this crap. Cotto was in the best shape of his life. He just ran into a superior fighter.

For the first time in my life, I'll be cheering against Pacquaio.

I'll be cheering against Mayweather, too.

Exactly! Great post, I think Floyd's smoke And mirrors tactics of making fans think he can beat the best while dodging them has finally ran out. I think that he is under more pressure than ever now to face a legit threat.

If Berto wins Floyd will fight him.

Other than that, id guess someone like Bradley, Malignaggi, Chavez Jr or Collazo

If Berto still has the WBC belt, Floyd will fight him.

The Bradley fight would be at 147

He might even attempt fight Devon Alexander

Well one thing that can't be denied - The Pacman HAS BALLS.

I really don't see much reward for taking this fight against such as high risk opponent. Clottey is a guy Mayweather would never go near with a 10inch pole.

Clottey is a hard ******* but not top level.
So Pacman passes on the biggest fight in history to do this uninspiring fight .
because he didnt want to take a **** in a cup 2 weeks before the fight.
Well at least he will get to take his usual supplements.

Everything you said in this statement is 100% true ...If Clottey can let his hands go he can win otherwise its a nice payday for him

Not really. I rather see Mosley vs Mayweather. Its definitely a better fight. Great speed. That will be a serious chess match. Hope this one happens. :good
