Agreed. People forget Cotto took 11 rounds of what the cheat had to offer- we will never know if Margo's gloves were loaded that night, but I do not see Clottey causing Cotto many problems. It will be a great fight but Cotto's class will show on the night. A very underestimated boxer in terms of skill IMO.

So what was up with that situation with Josh breaking his hand with Marg.....was that legit? I think I heard it wasn't really a break like he claimed. This will be a tough fight for both men but I think Josh will pull out a decision. The style match up doesn't favor Cotto IMO. For Cotto to win he'll have to BOX 12 rounds, 3 Mins every round and work the body. If he gets into a fight where they trade I think Clottley will have the advantage with his size, tight "D" and straight punches. Cotto hooks alot on the inside and Clottley throws a lot of punches straight down the middle which will get to his target faster than cotto.

Clottley was letting his hands go against Marg who is known for his work rate and activity in the ring. And he was able to keep Marg honest unlike Cintron or even Cotto in their fights with him.

Josh is a big WW brah....that might be an issue and if Josh is NOT active enough we'll see Cotto look like a boxing guru in there. But from what I've seen with Josh's style he is right in the middle of conservative and active. Not too busy but not like a young Wink who was more about accuracy and Defense than Offense.

Cotto's body work will need to be clicking on all cylinders when he is in there with Josh that is for sure. He can't just go head hunting like he did with Marg and I doubt he will b/c Josh has very good D upstairs. He'll focus on the body more since it will be there to hit. But I think Cotto will be best if he BOXES and stays out of an inside fight. Do what he did with Marg for the 5 rounds before he began to engage more and more with Tony.

Clottey has a good chance of pulling this off. This whole workrate and stamina issues really arose from the Marg fight.Where he supposedly hurt his hand?

Cotto will have a real problem when his punches aren't finding the mark and he realizes Clottey has some speed himself.

Either way if he wins he'll never get a fight with Pac that **** is stupid for him to even think. He needs to get that **** outta his mind,so he doesn't bother himself thinking about it.He should be thinking Shane or Williams.

You could be right homie. Clottley does go into a shell at times but he usually follows up immediately with a stiff jab or 1-2 combo. I say he should "WAR" with Josh only b/c Josh is bigger and his size might present the same kind of problem Margs size gave Cotto. I hope Cotto wins.....I really do. He's more marketable and more exciting but I just have this feeling Josh has the wrong style for Cotto and ends up loosing a decision. I think the fans will get a very exciting fight though. Cotto is a true warrior!

If Clottey wins then Arum will indeed mention him as an opponent for Pac, but much like how Valero's name has been mentioned, nobody will take his consideration seriously and rightfully so.

Even if he wins no one would bother fighting him with all the other big names available to fight, sad but true.

    Still picking Cotto by UD.
