I went over this many times but i will explain why he's a lier... He rubs me the wrong way because of this and i dislike him...

He claimed to have broken his hand in the margo fight which was why he stopped punching but that's total BS... He just couldn't handle margo's workrate...

During the Chico/clottey telecast, right before the fight, Clottey was interviewed and was asked which hand he injured... Instead of raising up his alledgedly injured hand, he held up his normal hand and said " ummm u know i wasn't sure if I really innjured it or not ".... I mean wtf, what does he mean that he's not sure?????? One would imagine that a pro prize fighter like him would have had his hand checked out by a hand specialist after an injury yet he said he wasn't sure?!!!!??!! That's lead me to believe that he was using his hand as an excuse in the margo fight.. He simply couldn't handle Margo's heat... Even if he did hurt his hand a little, many fighters in that position would have kept fighting hard with one hand but he just gave up mentally....

He's obviously not mentally strong enough to be an elite fighter and he strikes me as a shady character... A half assed lier who got caught slippin..

I personally scored the fight 6-6. I also scored the first 4 and either round 8 or 9 for Clottey (can't remember which one for sure). I also scored the 12th for Clottey.

Correct. Clottey came in at 170 pounds, but said he was fully clothed when he weighed in. When he fought Zab last August, he only weighed 156 pounds on fight night.

Even if you guys had the scores 6-6, AM did way more than Clottey apparently, and you guys know for a fact he was gonna get the nod. If it would've been certain judges, maybe he could've got a draw, but I doubt it. Judges always think about activity unfortunately.

I'd forgotten about the weight thing... that's a hell of a lot of water weight! And to still have two pounds available to sweat off at weigh-in? I'd forgotten about that. He doesn't look like he used racing horse drugs, but other than getting the flu or leprosy, that's quite a feat.
The only thing about Clottey that bugs me is that peanut head of his.

I can't even watch that fight anymore I had it recorded but erased it. Knowing that it was Chico's last fight and it was a horrible performance not the way I chose to remember him by.

It was a good win for Clottey but Corrales couldn't apply his gameplan,he strted boxing and then went back to slugging.Clottey would probably have finished him if Corrales would have not spit his mouthpiece out.
