As I stated in Victor's bandwagon thread, he will soon be fighting at Welterweight.

What makes it warped in your opinion? Corrales would have been better off moving up sooner in his career. Many fighters benefited from moving up in weight instead of waiting for their bodies to shutdown ala corrales.

Chico was a shell of what he useed to be...Coming up 2 divisions don't help either...On top of that you got a big solid WW in front of you...!

Yes I believe in same day weigh ins and i believe draining weight hurts fighters careers. You drain water from your body including protective fluid between your skull and brain. Then 24 hours later have a contest which requires you to get beat in the head until one man can no longer stand.

Gerald McClellen is a perfect example, a middleweight who would come fightnight weighing 175-180. RIP

Your actually right, but then you knew that already. As far as Chico goes, I believe he did not beloing in the 130 division when he fought PBF. He should have been at 135 and then the layoff came with his prison stint. He should have been at 140 after the Castillo fight. He would not have lost to Casa. Actually, Casa could have dupped Chico into the fight by looking bad. Remember, Chico was a guest announcer and predicted that he would beat Casa if he came at him looking like how he did with whoever it was he was fighting and then he loses to him. 140 would have been a good fit for him. He did torture his body way too long for those divisions. Well, that is what I believe.

I'm not a margo hater and I scored all of the first 4 rounds for Clottey. THe shots that he was landing were just cleaner and looked better. However I don't agree with those that say that Margo would have lost if Clottey hadn't been injured. Margo often starts slow and then breaks his man down as the fight wears on.
