Clottey vacates IBF belt

    Goddamn IBF was allegedly leaning on him to fight his mando. This goes against their rules which state that unification bouts take priority over mandos. This is bull****. Unfortunately for Cotto, he still won't get a chance to finally beat a reigning champ. Personally, I'll count it anyway if he should win.

    How? Delvin Rodriguez is the mandatory, and he's injured, plus he just became the mandatory like a month ago. The fact that they're skipping over Rodriguez to have Hlathswayo and Jackiewicz fight for the belt is complete and utter bull****. This is ABC corruption at its worst.

    The WBC is worse. They are making Bradley chose between his WBO and his WBC belt. He hasn't even broken any of their rules. Sulliman stated that the orgs lose all authority with a unified champ. Assholes, all of them.

    Actually Clottey's IBF is a paper belt as well since it belonged to Margarito but he was forced to vacate it to fight Cotto.

    Mosley should be holding the IBF as well as the WBA right now & possibly even the Ring.

    The only reason Cintron got the belt was because Mayweather vacated it to fight Baldo instead of Mark Suarez. The belt should rightfully be vacant.

    NOOOOO!!!!!! that sucks big time. The ww division needs and undisputed champ!!!

    ps I'm not suggesting the winner would be undisputed champ, but it's a step closer towards getting one.

    It's time for a new round of lawsuits! :hey Maybe we'd get more than a Chapter 11 and a token change-in-name-only if the screwed champions all sued at once.

    The WBC and IBF have both made it clear recently that they don't want unification because they lose their control over things and to them it's not about having a World Champion, it's all about making money and if you can control who a guy gets to fight you make more money.

    These Organisations see themselves as businesses, solely there to make profit and they should be ignored. They are meaningless and worthless.

    Good the winner of Cotto-Clottey have no right to call themsevles a unified/unification fight when Mosley whipped Margo to become the man and only has the WBA to show for it

    If he loses to Clottey, he can fight for that belt if it's still vacated. We all know how Cotto loves those vacant titles.:yep
