This fight reminds me about when Margarito was given a shot against a superstar fighter in Cotto he gave everything that night against him i expect the same thing with Clottey this is he's change to shine.
The same plaster that were use against Clottey right? But the big diffrences is that Clottey didn't QUIT unlike Cotto who DID.
it dont matter what yall say. the entire boxing world recognizes that margarito cheated. so if a few fans think otherwise doesnt mean anything. i try to look at the realistic aspect of things. once cotto wins alotta you guys will be pretty hush hush
hey like my man said Clottey made it to the end of the fight with margo, cotto cant say the same, with all the distractions in cottos camp and with the loss to margo still in his memory im going to go with clottey by close majority descision.
The Gutierrez and Margarito fights were a lot more recent than 10 years ago. See this is where we'll disagree. I don't think Cotto intentionally low blowed Judah. I say he got momentarily stunned by a uppercut, recovered, and looked to press the action. He attempted a body shot that happened to stray low. I don't think he was hurt, because one, every other time he was in trouble..he didn't press the action. Instead he fought on the back foot until his head was clear. Two, if that was his way of survival, I'm sure he would have unleashed some mean low blows on Margarito when he had him in trouble. The low blow in round three isn't even debatable since Judah's right glove was cuffing him behind the head while he attempted another body shot. Clottey on the other hand, I've observed on more than one occassion use low blows and headbutts when he's frustrated. I think his fouling more often than not is deliberate. This is why he was DQ'd against Baldomir, flirted with being DQ'd against Gutierrez, and had the Showtime commentators speculating that he was intentionally fouling Margarito. Incidentally, this all happened against three of the toughest four fighters Clottey has faced. Point being; if you're going to say one of the two is likely to fight "dirty" and land "low blows" there's more evidence to suggest that it would be Clottey than vice versa. I'm not justifying anything. I'm calling it like I see it. Neither would I, and that applies to both fighters.
You must be ****ing kidding right? Have you seen Cotto in trouble against Zab? Not one, nut two nutpunches. And all his fans say is "everyone else does it" GTFOH
The entire boxing world acknowledged that Margarito tried to cheat against Shane. The rest of the ****in Cotto-queens love to use that as an excuse for their boy getting stomped out like a cucaracha. Margo ain;t my favorite fighter by no means, but he is a true beast. And he whipped Cotto's ass. Period.
Cotto is just a god damn boxing machine, I truly believe that he can only lose if Clottey puts on an ATG performance. I can't wait for this fight.
