Clottey vs Cotto - Clottey's time to shine

once again yall can say whatever you want. cotto will be fighitng for titles. what will margarito be doing LOL

 

For Clottey to win, he'll have to be more aggressive with his offense than he's been accustomed to. His patient style comes off as stagnant and it won't bode well for him if he's overly defensive and allow himself to get outworked, especially fighting at MSG where the judges will almost certainly favor Cotto. He's going to have to really take the fight to Cotto and apply pressure not just by coming forward but with his punches. I'm not conviced that Clottey's capable of this kind of performance and so I'm picking Cotto by ud.

 

Clottey is as Nigerian as you are Pakistani.. get your races right

are you serious? you can say against Margarito he did but against Mosley??? From what i recall, Cotto was right there and fought toe to toe with Mosley. It was mosley who seem to gas early and if anyone was backpeddaling, it was mosley, look at round 8(for example) and tell me whos backpreddaling and whos pressuring who. Anyways, Im not saying Cotto is going to KO Clottey but i see a clear UD for Cotto.

 

A body shot KO for Cotto won't shock me.

 

I don't see how Clottey can win this fight, perhaps a lucky punch, but not likely.

 

One punch WON'T finish Cotto, especially not from Clottey who isn't a one punch KO artist.

 

the only chance i see clottey has is to make this a very ugly fight on the inside....and try to outwork cotto....which is very slim to none.
