The way I see it, if you get rocked and are out on your feet pretty much and the only thing keeping you on your feet is you holding onto your opponent like a life raft and you don't get a kd. Then if your in the same condition and a nudge or push puts you on the ground, then it should be a kd.

Foreman ain't all seeing but, he can clearly call a fight much better then a BigReg, so when the chips r down most people would chose to listen to him over u.......not to mention I saw what happened with my own eyes

And little push?? let's keep it realistic

I'm sorry maybe it is because you come onto every Cotto thread to express stupid ass points? Like saying a man was knocked down when he clearly wasn't. The referees now do everything right, they never miss anything.:-(

If excessive holding is against the rules, then why is holding strictly to keep yourself on your feet ok?

That's the way YOU see it. Not the way the OFFICIAL RULES see it.

Can he see a KD better than the ref who was in the ring with the two fighters?

I saw it with my own eyes as well. The only difference is is that I'm not completely bias towards Cotto like you are. Your admiration for the man is clouding your judgement.

I am keeping it realistic. Reality check; Cotto was hurt, tried to hold on and hit the canvas. Reality; it was ruled a KD. C'mon man, you can't lecture me on being realistic when I'm saying it was a KD when it was ruled a KD. I know you love Cotto and all, but let's stick to reality here.

Yeah well I officially saw that fight, and Torres deserved to be awarded with the KD. Cotto looked like a drunk girlfriend with the amount he was hugging him.

because in the situations that cotto was hurt in...the ones i listed cotto either escaped or the guys didnt follow through

    >shane had him shook in the 8th or 9th i think and the ref stopped the fight to wihpe some water off the floor in the corner
    >zab had him shook once in the 1st & 2nd.... cotto hit him in the nuts

Chop chop & torres i dont rememeber what happend but i know that those 2 guys are not counter punchers..... so they would have had to go get cotto... clottey is a counter puncher and he knows how to set his opponent up to come towards him.. so cotto will be coming to him and he can throws punches in bunches so he has finishing capabilities...

im not sitting here making a statement of clottey knocking cotto out... but if it happened i wouldnt be surprised one bit...it would be what i expect more than anything

for cotto to win he has to pick and chose his spots and then reset.... cotto's easiest way of wnning would be to go for the decision.... or if clottey gets to wild trying to trade with him .... but i dont think that is beneficial to cotto seeing he doesnt have the best chin on earth

    lol

You are a Cotto fan? Weren't you the one that said cotto has been hurt in every fight since he became champ at 140. Im guessing that was unbelievably sarcastic of your part.

I had a friend that took the odds and threw money on Jennings. You never know after a loss he took, alot of people questioned whether he'd be back to form. I didn't, I predicted him to win, but that particular fight I don't hold it against anyone for picking Jennings.

The way I see this fight playin out though, is that Cotto will throw 3 punches in a row and Clottey throws 1 big punch. Clottey is very accurate with his punches. Cotto got a shot if he works the body, Clottey says it wont go 12 so hes gonna pply pressure and see what Cotto does. if he lays on the damn ropes again he wont win.

The fight is a toss up in my eyes, but I'll go with Clottey. 1 reason is this might be the last time hes gonna get a shot like this, it could acutally be the best Clottey has ever seen

Stupid ass points like Cotto was KD in a fight where the ref ruled he was KD? Stupid ass points like there is no evidence that Margo cheated against Cotto?

Cotto clearly wasn't KD even though he ref,who was standing right next to both of them and had the best view and is professionally trained and well aquainted with the rules, ruled it a KD?:huh This makes sense to you? I make stupid points yet you're the one arguing against reality on this one.
