I heard yesterday in a Univision program called Republica Deportiva that Margo vs Clottey has been made for November 1. Cotto said that he wanted to fight before the end of 2008, so what other fight do you think he will do?? What about Williams?? I don't think that we will see Williams vs Cotto next... Discuss.
I think everyone does want to see Cotto V Williams. Believe me COtto has a much better chance against williams. If Quintana out boxed Williams Cotto is the man to do it aswell. Williams cannot take Cottos punches like Margarito did trust me.
i think he should take the wbc strap from berto, but cotto v cintron is an interesting bout. i don't know about the PW matchup. could be a tough comeback fight
Cotto vs Williams sounds like the logical choice ..I hope we see that or who knows maybe Berto gets a big pay day ..
Most likely Cotto's next fight will be againts Cintron. I read an article from an spanish newspaper yesterday and Cintron's promoter wants to make the fight happen in november.
Cotto needs to work on his stamina or he will quit against Williams as well as he did against Margarito. And trust me, Williams will not stand with his face first waiting to take punch after punch. I think Punisher will beat Cotto in great war.
If I was Bob, I would make a warm up fight against a top but safe welter... I'll take on Berto and get the WBC strap. If Cotto beats Berto convincingly his stock will rise a little bit more.

I seriously will doubt this fight with Clottey was made until I see it is signed and sealed. Most likely Margo will fight Williams next. Goosen who is Williams promoter, offered Margo $4 million plus 50% of the tv rights. Clottey can't offer anywhere near this amount, plus Margo gets a chance at revenge and another belt by fighting Williams, plus Margo already beat Clottey. Plus Margo only made 1.5 million for the Cotto fight, so $4million to fight Williams represents his largest payday by almost triple not even counting for his 50% on viewing rights. Margo will go for the big bucks and revenge now that Oscar is seeking Paquiao. Margo wanted Oscar for the big payday, Williams is the next biggest payday. Margo will take the best payday he can, after all this is professional boxing and he aint getting any younger.
PW looked like **** in the 1st quintana fight. Making weight killed him 4 sure. i don't think he got outboxed he was just to tired to keep up his normal workrate. he destroyed him in the rematch in 1 round. If he boxes like he did against margo it will be tough for cotto to wear him down. if PW fights tall and throws alot of punches it's gonna be hard for cotto to get off like he did against margo. It'll be a tougher fight than alotta people think
There hasnt been a man Cotto couldnt hit and Williams doesnt have the best defense:yep, all Im saying is that Margarito couldnt really use his reach against Cotto, Cotto always got inside did his work and steped out. Same thing he will do to Williams but more effectively because Williams is NOT a pressure fighter.
