Exactly, that's why I said that even if he offers more money than Berto it won't be THAT much more for the amount of risk it involves.

Both Mosley and Williams are screwed at this point, Williams is more screwed having to jump different divisions for different fights.

Indeed. Williams is more screwed because unlike Mosley, his promoter has him tied up in so many ropes that there's no fightsf or him. Mosley at least has Oscar and Schaefer to fall back on worst case scenario.

Oscar, Berto, Cotto/Pacquiao, Mayweather, Margarito rematch. All those remain options wide open even if Cotto/Pac/Mayweather seem to be tied they are still options he will get soon anyway, unlike Williams.

I meant more in a sense that GBP as a company has less burnt bridges than Goosen. Goosen has issues with TR which kind of sort of eradicates the big WW scene and if I'm mistaken there are issues between Goosen and Shaw as well.

Basically Williams is cut off from the money tree because his promoter is a jaggoff.

Ain't gonna happen. If Cotto vs Pac fight, it'll be a Top Rank only.

I've had many people ask me why Williams doesn't leave Goossen and sign with Arum or GBP.

I have to believe that he has a certain amount of fights locked up with Goosen. Maybe that's why things are going so slow for Paul?

Could be, I didn't really go deep into it but seeing how Paul is always screwed and has been since the Margarito fight I can't help but wonder. The Wright fight was a good one and got him some great publicity but he's back to "unknown" mode again now.

To make matters worse they held Williams/Wright in Vegas when they really need to find a preferred market for Williams where he's going to be a popular fighter. Vegas was an awful choice because Paul doesn't have the grandeur personality to stand out in vegas. He's a country boy, he should get more fights in regional areas to see if they can't build him a grassroots following of sorts.

Instead Paul is always somewhere he shouldn't be where he's either the MAJOR underdog (Against Margo) or completely unknown (Winky).

If it's not going anywhere he might consider signing with Arum or GBP, this isn't going anywhere lately and he's wasting time. The more time he wastes the more gimped he'll be in the long run. Would be sad to see such a beast left unheard of, it's an insult to allow that to happen.

At least Margarito was good enough to give him a shot when Arum told him to ignore/drop the WBO and go on to fight Cotto instead. Imagine if that didn't happen Paul would be in a FAR worse situation. Got to credit Concreto there.

mosley is assed out. clottey, williams and berto are not big enough fights for a guy whos 37 and on his way out and the superfights he want, cotto, mayweather or pacquiao, those three guys dont really want to fight mosley
