Any version of Shane I think get's beaten by Clottey. Shane's got nothing for Clottey's defense, refer to his loses to Winky, and Clottey's ability to counter Shane would prove to be too much.
Mosley a few years ago would have made this at least close and maybe edged it...Emmanuel has had some average performances himself...I could see him being to quiet as the flurries of Shane catch the judges eyes. But even a prime Mosley didnt like facing guys who were stronger then him...I dont think this is all that close in the end with this version of Mosley.
I'm saying that Clottey is stylistically wrong for Shane. But I will say once Clottey starts to get more opportunity against better and more recognized opposition that he has an excellent chance at surpassing Winky in the eyes of most boxing fans.
I'm going with Mosley on the hunch that working with Nazim turns Mosley into a whole new and improved fighter...maybe not as entertaining but something much more sound as far as technique and ring intelligence goes... But most likely Clottey...
stylistically bad for shane. clottey iron chinned and gets stronger later in the fight, when mosley in a competitive fight will lose the middle rounds. not many would go to mosley's body, except oscar and he was highly successful when he got robbed in the rematch. winky was more of a headhunter and had a better jab than clottey, but other than margo clottey hasn't been tested. he beat past prime smaller fighters like chico and judah, i don't know no for sure if how'd he'd handle shane's left hook, but i'll give clottey the benefit of the doubt as he's very good all around and in his prime in a unanimous decision
