    Clottey's Strengths:

    1. Size - Clottey is a big and strong welterweight. Bigger and much stronger then Cotto. where Cotto failed to overpower and walk Pac down, Clottey may succeed.
    2. Durability - Clottey has never been broken down in a fight before and has taken very little punishment in his career
    3. Defense - very very tight turtle shell defense. Pac has never seen this style before and may get frustrated when he finds his punches hitting gloves and arms, rather then face.
    4. Fast Jab - If Cotto did anything right, it was jab. When he jabbed he hit Manny often. Clottey outjabbed Cotto so we know the weapon is there and it's faster then Cotto's as well. (reference their fight if you have doubts, Clottey had faster hands)
    5. Patience - In many of Pacmans fights his opponents are dropped when they foolishly lose their cool and end up exchanging with him. It is the point where they are going to punch but Manny gets his in first that they are caught and sent to the canvas (Cotto/JMM). Clottey will be tougher then his past opponents to bait into this type of exchange. He is defensive first, always. He will most likely try and jab jab jab, then allow Pac to open up, only returning when he knows it is safe to throw back when Pac stops. This could make for a boring and frustrating fight for Pacman.

    Clottey's weaknesses:

    1. Activity - Pac may steal rounds from him because Clottey is not active and he is so defensive minded. Yeah he may prevent damage to himself, but he will not be inflicting any either and the activity and workrate will go to Manny. If nobody is landing cleanly, the guy that is trying to land will be favored by the judges.
    2. Experience in big fights - Clottey has faced 2 top welterweights and lost. Forget what your opinion is, the truth is he hasn't figured out a way to secure the victory yet.
    3. Speed - Of course Clottey will be at a speed disadvantage, primarily foot and body movement bbut handspeed as well.

Please feel free to add to these, note: I did not do strengths/weaknesses for Pac because this is pretty fight specific so you can take "Clottey's strengths" as pacs weaknesses in this fight and vice versa :good

Prediction: I think Clottey will lose another tight decision in a fight that I probably and many others probably score for him as a victory. Pac will win due to his activity.

I agree. This is a tough fight for Pacquiao, if he's gonna win I think it'l be by decision, can't see him stopping Clottey.

i still think that pac-floyd would happen if not now maybe after this fight or late this year if both continued winning. good assessment on clottey and you bsically covered them all. and i somewhat agree with the result. i just think that pac also has a decent chance of stopping clottey based on the way he was stopping his last four opponents. of course clottey is a very risky fight and could very well upset pac.

Pac by unanimous decision......based soley on punch output and workrate

Clottey will be on the defensive the whole night, leaving him with not much time to counter punch in comparison

Clottey just might WALK THROUGH pacqauio. The man is built like a tank. I see his defense making pac a little frustrated. If pac were to win this fight , it wont be too pretty!!

i can actually see clottey beating pac, watch the first round of pac-cotto, clottey can maintain that for 12 rounds, he doesn't lose his composure and will keep boxing till the end.

Relentless aren't you kinda shocked that Roach would agree to this fight? I think on one hand they need to take on a tough challenge after all this bull**** just to shove it up Floyd's ass, but on the other hand Roach has a history of being very careful and confident with who Manny fights and this just seems like a huge risk for them.

    It's a sham mismatch of a fight.

Clottey is slow and rigid. Pac is a drugcheat. Pac wouldn't have any trouble beating Clotteys ass WITHOUT his PED regimen.

Pac will destroy and crush Clottey - There are no two ways about it.

I totally agree. The ONLY thing stopping me from being confident Clottey will beat him is that I doubted Pac against Hoya/Cotto and he proved me terribly wrong.
