How can you not mention Clottey's biggest weakness, which is clearly his stamina? Pretty much every single fight he's been in he's started out strong, then slowed to a trickle by the end.

:patsch If he's easy to hit why did he come out of the Cotto fight looking normal? I'm just saying though...you said he was easy to hit.:-(

I see Pac winning a close fight by decision.

Clottey's got good D but not the sort of D where he makes you miss. With his guard he'll catch a lot of Pac's punches but Pac will keep punching and picking up rounds where as Clottey will be in his shell not firing back a lot. Clottey might counter the first 1 or 2 shots but what about other 5 Pac's firing? Plus Pac's got the speed and accuracy to get round and through the guard.

Also remember when Cotto had Clottey stuck against the ropes in round 6? I don't know if he was playing possum then but Cotto had him there for about a minute straight, just taking punches. If he does that against Pac he could get stopped.

For Clottey to win he needs to make sure Pac doesn't get into any sort of rhythm and make the fight as dirty and ugly as possible, lots of holding, clinching, "accidental headbutts" lol.

Great one Manny, let's take on a guy who was beaten by the guy you just beat. That's one for the legacy...

    Bull**** fight.

Tough fight which he "could" lose, but irregardless.. the circumstances leading to it and the timing of it are horrible. Fact is Clottey lost to Cotto, Cotto destroyed by Pac. No need for this fight right now.

Pacquiao wins close but clear UD. Clottey takes too many rounds off and stands in front of you with his guard up. Pacquiao lands the cleaner blows whilst never really troubling Clottey.

I believe Pacquiao's footspeed wins him this fight. Im very confident this fight goes the distance.

There are bigger fights out there for Pacquiao though

Styles make fights. A beat B, B beat C, so A beats C doesn't work in boxing :good

Some people on this board regard Clottey very highly.

I don't think he is anything special.

    Pac should stop him late.

You are giving Clottey too much credit. This will not be a close, controversial fight. Clottey is predictable and doesn't throw enough punches. Pac will easily win on points. If Clottey had knockout power, it'd make this fight interesting, but he doesn't.

Clottey's poor workrate will be his downfall in this fight.

You would be more convinced if Pac stops Clottey.
