    williams will abuse clottey..

clottey doesnt have enouht power to keep williams honest so williams will do his usual 1000 punch out put and just blister clottey to an 8-4 decision... more or less..

    - clottey has 0 lateral movement so dont say "clottey will quintana williams"

I'll take PW on this. Clottey has very a good defense but I think PW will pepper him w/ so many punches that eventually he'll breakdown Clottey's defense.

its not even about breaking through clotteys defense..

clottey cant win a shoot out with paul williams based on activity
    clottey cant hurt williams

so there really isnt a way clottey SHOULD win

Williams by UD easy. Clottey doesn't throw nearly enough punches nor have the power to stop Williams, who would overwhelm Clottey and out work him.

Paul Williams would throw so many punches at Clottey that tight defense of his would drop by the 4th.

Great fight and I think Clottey could pull this off. Only because I feel he'd take more chances than Winky did because he knows Paul defense is his offense and whould fire with him at times. Clottey has an underated offense and boxing skills. Paul can win but I like Clottey's chances and people shouldn't base too much off that Winky fight cause Winky was shot to ****.

so how clottey would have to literally outgun paul william 1000+ punches

do you honestly think clottey can do that?

Since when does throwing a 1,000 punches mean you automatically win a fight?

I'm not saying Clottey will win, but bringing up the '1,000 punches' comment again is ridiculous. If he's not landing and it's not effective, it doesn't count for ****.

im not saying paul williams will win because he throws 1000...

but what im saying is what can clottey do to counter 1000 punches?

    - can clottey slow that much activity down?
    - can clottey fire enough punches back to be effective?
    - can clottey stay away from williams pressure?

    ill let you answer

I think Williams would get his jab working, keep this at his range, and prevent Clottey from ever really getting anything going...kind of like the Wright fight, but not entirely.

    Williams clear ud

Exactly and Paul Williams doesn't have the versatility that Cotto has to evade punches and do other things. Clottey would block most of Williams punches like Winky did but the difference would be that Clottey would be wlling to get hit to land his punches as well and he would land a lot on Paul, more than Winky did. People are gonna be in a shock if these 2 fight and Clottey beats him cause all i'm gonna say is I told you so.
