Paul walks aroud at 162. He is jus naturally that skinny. That's what makes him so effective and why he has so much stamina. When he rehydrates, he goes back to his natural comfortable weight. He weighed in at 157 for Winky, and had to eat like a horse. 147 is no porblem for him. People have no idea when they claim this.
I won't rub it in anymore.....that last line is the most sense you have made all day. It is all good dude!!!!
I had doubts because he left 147 for a few fights and looks like he might stay up there. I wish Cotto and Mosley would fight him but Clottey is available and if that fight could be made, and Williams beats him convincingly, Williams would further solidify his top position at 147.
Why would Williams even consider fighting Clottey, who at this point has failed in his chances to shine on the world stage. Williams needs to be thinking about a major fight, and if he can't get one he should just see which opponents the TV people will accept. There's no reason for anyone to go out and pursue Clottey, though. I'd rather see him fight SD at 154, anyway.
Paul Williams' style presents many problems for Clottey. Huge stamina, lots of movements, lots of punches... I don't see how he could beat Paul without a knockout and he doesn't have the power to pull one out against Paul.
