CLOTTEY...what can he do?

Clottey is a great fighter in the sameway Margo is. He's tough as nails dosen't go backwards and by the end of the fight the other guy always looks worse. This guy would be competitive with ANYBODY at WW. I'm not saying he is the best WW but this guy would take PW and AB to places they've never been before. He's in my top 5 WW fighters now and I'd love to see him fight anyone.

 

Actually the fight Cintron accepted is for a interim WBC belt. More money than against Clottey, and even though this guy is bigger then Clottey i think is less risk for more money. You know you would do the same.

Cintron didn't "duck"...there's just not enough money to go around on this card. And I hate Kermit Cintron so coming to his defense kind of makes me feel queasy.

Anyways this does suck for Clottey. Cintron was custom made for him to just walk right through and pick up a valuable "name" on his resume, now Kermit is out and he'll likely face a lesser opponent who nobody cares about. With money being an issue, I'd imagine a Delvin Rodriguez/Issac Hlastwayo (?!?) sort of opponent will be ordered up.

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Lovemore Ndou is given a shot.

 

he has a good defense, he doesn't exactly throw a lot of punches or have excellent power, but his speed is above decent. basically, i don't think this guy is spectacular, but he is a tough fight for anybody.

Clottey is not an elite fighter. He's an upper B level.
