Mostly a fair assessment of Clottey. The criticism that us Clottey fans have is his limited workrate at times. I don't agree with tiring down the stretch, in Clottey-Judah, he visibly increased his output and tempo in the later rounds.

Nobody in the WW division is going to stop Margarito. His workrate will always be there. However the difference between Cotto and Clottey is that Joshua can bang with this guy and deliver punishment right back. He doesn't need to move back or try and outbox him. And as you acknowledged Clottey can take Margo's punch all night due to defense and chin.

For the aforementioned reason I beg to differ. According to you Margo needs to stay at midrange and punch there where Clottey is least effective. If Clottey is moving forward then Margo will have to back up to stay at midrange. We all know this will never happen because Margo has one style: Relentless assault. He will be coming forward all night and when he comes on the inside he will recieve punishment there because Clottey is more effective.

My previous point about Cintron was that he is ridiculously overrated, and I know your only using him as a benchmark for power, but if you have poor technique and no intangibles, it is difficult maximize that power against high level fighters..

See Dave_theGreat about joining Clottey Haternation. Clottey will unify the WW division if its the last thing he does.

Ok seriously though. Also in terms of the whole injury hooplah, lets just leave it at neither fighter was 100%. Also didn't the doctor ask Clottey during the fight if he wanted to continue because of his hand? Round 11 or somewhere around? I mean it seems there was some legitimacy to the claim.

Yeah. It was the beginning of round 11. The doc asked about his hand. His hand was hurting badly. If it wasnt for that hand, he would've schooled Margo

    Margarito by Wide Wide Decision.

Clottey is a F-ing joke and i cant believe some think he will beat the top guys at 147.

First off he doesnt throw enough punch's takes long rests in between rounds.

Lazy Lazy fighter if you ask me.

Plus i think people forget how much improved AM is since they last fought.

Please ive watched Clottey tapes alot now after he was matched up with Judah.

And how Clottey has got this far in boxing without getting a a ass whiping is beyond me.
Next you'll be telling us Clottey is the next Quartey when he couldnt hold Ike's jock strap.

Hey boss, I'm not the one calling a top 3 WW a 'lazy' fighter and making myself look beyond ignorant. Your just another keyboard warrior. Go join the HBO crew, expert, you'd fit right in.

Clottey my friend just beat the Worst version of Zab Judah weve ever seen.
And in doing so he wasnt dominating at all.
Now he according to you is the 3rd best welterweight.

    NO NO NO IDIOT.

I would all rank these men higher
    Margo
    Williams
    Cotto
    Mosley
Then maybe a case can be made for Clottey but still even then how would Clottey do against Cintron.

Clottey is a tank. He's never ben hurt in his career "Trust me"!!!

Margo would outpoint him, but not by much. In the beginning rounds he would hit Margo with some really good shots. But his workrate is the obvious draw back for him. This is another fight I wouldn't bet on.
