Tired of hearing that. The only "counterpunchers" who could trouble or beat Pacquiao were GREAT FIGHTERS. Cotto is an excellent counterpuncher and did some excellent counterpunching against Pacquiao. He lost anyway. This counterpuncher stuff is too generic.

Cotto decided to go toe to toe and left his game plan of counter, and thats why he was smoked out. He wasnt the same fighter after Margo touchdown anyway.:bbb

Pacquiao was purely superior. That gameplan stuff = didley. And as far as him not being the same after Margarito.... Good one. He looked better. Faster, more concise. All that.

Let's not forget Cotto's wonderful trainer for the fight. That guy was a joke.

Cotto looked like Mr. Roboto in 24/7 working the mitts. It seemed that he had a good camp, but his whole game plan seemed to be, "I'm bigger. He can't stand up to my power."

I think he was faster and in shape, but his chin and power had deteriorated. As Kirk would say "he lost his torque and threw these weird ass arm punches."

Watch his body punches. They looked like they carried NOTHING when he threw em. But they sure did look fast :p

NEWSFLASH: Pacquiao is that good, son. YES. Margarito does not equal Pacquiao.

kirk made that reference in regards to the Clottey fight... Ask Manny. Those "arm punches" were ****ing him up badly. He was getting hurt by those "arm punches." Carried "NOTHING?" Come now.. No need for any justification or anything otherwise. Cotto looked sensational against Pacquaio.

When watching that, my heart sank a little bit for Joshua.

    Pac by KO.

And Cotto was certainly not as his absolute best against Pac.

People misunderstood the context why Clottey's trainer said that: He means, he knows how to beat Pacquiao because it's the same fighter he worked with for years.

thats the mistake all of pacs last 5 opponents made.

nazim richardson said if shane fights pac he will train him as if pacs the bigger man and if anybody in camp mentions how small pac is they're gonna get their asses kicked out.
