I'm sure Josh is training as he always does for fights. Afterall he never watches fight tapes of his opponents. Josh has got to be a bit distracted but I haven't see anyone more hungry than Josh at the moment. He knows this is an incredible opportunity and I'm sure he's putting in all the blood sweat and tears necessary to beat manny. Will he? I don't think so but I do feel he'll present Manny with some challenges early on. Like Cotto did.

Wrong. Cotto went toe-to-toe because his counter-jab was already anticipated, read, and fully-timed by early Round 2, so Pac was able to beat him to the punch by using straight lefts. And Cotto tried jabbing offensively, only to eat right-hooks over the job of Cotto's jab. So then Cotto takes Pac to the ropes (or Pac lures Cotto to the ropes)...

In short, Cotto's arsenal was destroyed to utter **** by Round 6.

This fella ''training'' Clottey should **** off back to making locks or whatever he does. He cant seriously consider himself a trainer if he thinks Pac has stayed the same for 5 years.

He didn't get rid of his old trainer - he was forced to pick up a new one because they wouldn't give his old one a visa.

Why couldn't he have done the bulk of his training in Africa and then came over here with 2 weeks left?

That's not practical. Then he would come here in mid/late training, lose time for his body to adjust from the flight. Then finish off his training with somebody else. His best bet was to come here asap and do an entire training camp with one person. That way he builds a relationship with this person and has him in his corner.
