Don King? This idiot just signed a statement that he won't fight more than once a year. Why would anyone sign with Don King, who does a horrible job promoting fighters lately, I have no idea.

 

Well Cloud refuses to fight more than once a year anyway. They should get along well. A fighter that doesn't want to fight and a promoter that can't get him any fights.

 

Horrible news. Cloud is one of the most poorly managed fighters at the top level of boxing, IMO.

 

Expect Cloud to go into Witness Protection and resurface in about two years.

Yeah right, if Don King is too scared to put him against Johnson. Why on earth would he put him against Dawson? Whose beaten Johnson two times.

Glen Johnson is the man. Cloud has just killed his career.

 

Seems like it might get rescheduled in a few months. I was and am looking foward to this fight, I hope it still happens. Cloud is wasting away his career. With inactivity, turning down fights, injuries, and possible promotional issues, he is killing his career. He has an exciting style and has put together a few solid wins, he's in position to become a star in his weight. Cloud and Dawson should be building up to a superfight at 175 but instead they are killing their prime years with inactivity.

 

Yea they should be more active, but their not so lets appreciate their once a year show

 

We have no choice but to appreciate it but it is still disappointing.

 

Hopefully Dawson will take a tune up before Pascal or a easy match right after

 

nah, he's contracted to only fight on HBO and has a two fight deal for 2010. So it's Pascal and then something in fall.
