How long does Punk even last? I think he won't go past a minute.

No disrespecting but he should have stayed in his lane, like there is something wrong with being a top pro wrestler. His training with Duke Ruffis is a major plus and he is in fact getting better training than the younger kid. I don't see him beating a young brown belt jiu jitsu player though, this will be a massacre.

I was a huge CM Punk fan when he was in WWE.
In the videos I've seen I don't think he has the tools like Lesnar to break into the world of MMA. He'll probably lose this saturday.

He might experience some trouble early on, but he can adapt and he does have a muay Thai background, coupled in with what he's been learning from Duke Rufus, I think he'll be fine.. he might win by a shock submission!! :SimpHomer:

If he wins major props to him, I want him to win as it would be a underdog story that lifts the heart, but a brown belt is almost like a black belt and Gall has a nasty caulie flower ear that you don't get unless you've grappled for a long time.Cm punk's only chance is a bodily injury to the gut, some flash knock out scenario like a knee to the head maybe. Really don't see this happening though.

What's up with just calling him by the mononym of his surname? Granted it's been a long time since I followed MMA closely whatsoever but surely "Mickey Gall" isn't enough of a household name (after having apparently just debuted in the UFC on FN82 this year) for people to recognize who the hell you're talking about.

Don't know much about Gall but if he has any ability whatsoever he should be able to stop a 40 yr old washed up pretend wrestler.

Lets get serious here folks, we have an overage (plus40) amateur first time fighter who is stepping into the octogan with a very good young buck that can obviously bang and submit. I'm not sure of the odds but the the heavy favourite should be this Gall kid, if you want to make serious money have something on this result being a stoppage in the kids favour because the old bloke has a good profile and will be shorter odds than he shld be...... Just questioning. I know he is known by his stage name by most people and not his real name (Phil Brooks)
Are there more UFC contenders with a stage name?

I predict I'll be a lot less ****ed off by whatever happens than I am after Brook and GGG. Duke Roufus would have to throw in the towel after a takedown for it to be comparable.

But yeah, I reckon Gall easily enough. Really pulling for CM though,
