You, me and everybody who's given it more than a second of thought know that Green isn't serious about fighting genuine cruiserweights.

The cruiser title was all about getting Roy to Oz. Now it's just an extra carrot he's able to dangle at fighters his own weight.

There's nothing ambiguous about all that mate.

Kess would beat Green fairly easily I think.

 

Green is a tough son of a ***** gritty fighter and Kessler isnt a slick boxer that will just outbox him plain and simply. I give Green a good chance at giving Kessler some real hurt. If my life depended on it then I would pick Kess though

 

i agree with teke i think kessler is more suited to danny, if they did fight it would be a war and i can see kessler getting worried by some hard right hands from danny. could be some good money to be won on greeny if this fight did happen

 

Kessler is a cream puff - he's strong and has good technical skills, but he isn't slick.

I've always thought Green would be able to beat him, even more so now after Calzaghe tore his heart out.

• cruiserweight world title bout with Manny Siaca was stopped too early, denying him the chance to execute a "clean knockout".

Siaca hit the canvass in the third round after wearing three right hooks from Green.
The Puerto Rican, who had earlier complained about being hit on the back of the head, stayed crouched in the corner for several seconds to regain his composure before rising to his feet just as referee Jack Reiss was nearing his count of 10.

Reiss wasn't convinced about Siaca's condition and stopped the fight but Green believed his opponent had done enough to prove he could fight on.

  Sounds like Green is taking a leaf out of Mundine's book. All of a sudden it's okay to talk yourself up and act like a cocky twit. "I wanted a longer fight but unfortunately when you have power like this, it's all over quickly". That could easily have come out of Mundine's mouth. I don't mind the cocky stuff but if it's okay for Green to do it, why does everyone despise Mundine? And whats with the rabbit punches, Danny?
