I can't understand why Winky Wright is there. In his last two bouts he is 0-1-1. He hasn't fought for a while now also.

You have Rafeal Marquez above Pavlik, even though rafeal is 0-0-2 in his last 2 bouts, whereas Pavlik is an undefeated Middleweight champion.

    1. Floyd Mayweather Jr
    2. Bernard Hopkins
    3. Joe Calzaghe
    4. Juan Manuel Marquez
    5. Kelly Pavlik
    6. Israel Vasquez
    7. Miguel Cotto
    8. Manny Paquiao
    9. David Haye
    0. Rafael Marquez

I would place Floyd Mayweather Jr above Pacquiao based on accomplishments, talent, and consistancy.

Aren't you reading all Boxing scribes are saying???? You can say Floyd as the Most Talented Boxer who ever lace a Gloves. But the Greatest is a Different thing. Where's Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Cintron etc in PBF's resume???? Something is missing????

I hope people understand why I have Manny Paquiao placed that low. In my opinion, he lost both Marquez fights, which is why I have Marquez in the 4th spot, not Manny.

Bernard Hopkins needs to be at second place. In his last bouts, he has defeated Antonio Tarver and Winky Wright. Joe Calzaghe has defeated Manfredo and Kessler in his last two bouts. I give Hopkins the edge, especially considering his age.

I am not a Floyd Mayweather Jr fan. But Floyd Mayweather Jr is undefeated and has been p4p #1 for a considerable amount of years. Manny has been defeated on three occasions, and has never had the privalege of getting worldwide recognition as p4p #1. Additionally, Floyd has shown superior technical skills in his matchups, whereas Pac has overpowered his opponents with pressure and power shots. Floyd has also won more titles in multiple different weight classes. I honestly don't see an arguement here?

    1. Neither Marciano or Lopez won as many titles as Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    2. There were better fighters around during their reigns then there are today. At least in my opinion.

    3. Floyd Mayweather is widely considered one of the most skillful fighters of all time. Marciano isn't on the same level skillwise, and neither is Lopez.

I wasn't saying Floyd Mayweather is undefeated and therefore he is the greatest of his generation. I was just listing reasons as to why you could make a case for him being chosen over the likes of Manny.

PBF only fighting once a year in his prime, There will always be a question why??? Why he's not fighting the Miguel Cottos of the world??? Can you check the resume of Ali, SRR & SRL??? These are the greatest of their Generation. Now look at the resume of Pac & PBF. Who do you think reflects ALI, SRR & SRL resume????
