Says the guy who threw a hissy fit because people have different opinions then his own and refused to agree to disagree because he believes only his opinion is the correct one. You of all people calling me arrogant is hilarious I was good faith throughout and have tried to be reasonable with you but all you've shown is your own self righteous and childish behavior. Maybe learn to consider other people's arguments instead of just dismissing them because you disagree and throwing a huge hissy fit about it makes you look like a child

That wasn't against you, my guy. It was the other way around. He was the one who didn't get it. Which I guess makes me a spaceship cuz he liked it.

Tyson and Holyfield lose a close decision, Bowe barely beat Donald who is a cheap knockoff Ali, you must be trolling on that one. Wlad and Holmes do have a good shot at beating Ali

Fury ? lol You've been discredited.

I’m a Usyk fan but the sheer irony in suggesting that Ali is overrated vs the obvious overrating of Usyk’s chances against this that and the other former ATG HW is laughable.

Bowe barely beat Tubbs. Donald didn't come close to winning.

First of all, neither guy has ever seen anything like the other.

Ali never saw such a skilled southpaw in his entire career.

Likewise, Usyk has never ever seen anybody with that level of speed, with such an unorthodox style.

You say there’s nothing that Usyk couldn’t have dealt with, yet he’s simply never faced anything like a prime Ali.

Both had respectable power, but not huge power.

This would have been a technical chess match, where they’d have gone feint for feint.

You’ve mentioned a few things here which aren’t really relevant.

Yes, Ali was vulnerable to Frazier’s left hook, and his relentless, aggressive style.

Yet Usyk doesn’t possess those same attributes.

Usyk nullifying Fury’s uppercut also has zero relevance here.

Usyk does not have impregnable fundamentals.

You think that a 60’s Ali would have made it competitive?

He’d have made more than just competitive.

You are giving Usyk far too much credit here, whilst completely glossing over the fact that Ali had much faster hand speed, much faster feet, and much faster reflexes.

If it’s a technical fight, between two guys of the exact same height, reach, weight and power, then I’d go with the faster, more elusive and proven one of the two.

The defence of your arguments read like an advertisement for condoms.

    Let’s be honest though.

You label guys like myself as being a bit nostalgic, yet you yourself can show recency bias.

Yes, there’s certain things that Usyk could have exploited.

But it works vice versa too.

Ali had exceptional speed and an unorthodox style.

Usyk would have found that very problematic, as he wasn’t a powerful pressure fighter.

You’ve got to realise, that as great as Usyk is, he too would also have difficult fights against certain HW’s.

    You won’t accept that though.

You won’t accept that Usyk would have had issues with guys like Frazier and Tyson, on the grounds that they were small, and Usyk has beaten much larger fighters.

I don’t believe that there’s any HW in history who could have beaten every other great HW in history.

    It’s not realistic.

Because there’s just too many great fighters, and too many different styles to overcome.

Yes, Ali can get overrated. 100%

But you yourself overrate Usyk too.

Regarding Ali vs Usyk in a H2H fight, you’d have gotten two guys who haven’t seen anyone like each other.

    Never.

Two great athletes, with the same height and reach.

Two guys with a similar level of power.

It would have been a chess match.

A southpaw with a conventional style, vs an orthodox, unconventional style, along with exceptional speed.

It would have been a very intriguing fight.
