Poor Cobb. Unlike Holmes (who technically stopped Cobb about five times in that fight!!!) Liston would put him down and legitimately stop him.

You know Liston stopped Wepner in his last fight ?
    TKO 10 (cuts)
    Beats Cobb by decision.

I was wondering when someone was going to mention that:lol:

Christ, Liston was reported as being 38 years old in that match, but might even have been a few years older. A peak Liston of 10 years earlier would have smoked chuck inside of two.

I think Liston pounds on Tex Cobb to a one sided decision, similar to how he beat on Bert Whitehurst.

I remember seeing a photo of Wepner during the fight. It looked like a bloodbath.

Liston by bloodbath in both cases. Both men might be tough enough to stay on their feet, but I think Liston busts them up.

    Sure.

Liston might have a heart attack in the ring.

Not fair or even funny. Liston takes them both to the slaughter house and chops them to pieces.

Liston knocks both out ... he thrashed Wepner when he was well over forty ... Liston may have been the hardest single puncher hitter of anyone and these two would get destroyed ...

Feel sorry for cobb and wepner here lack of defence is not good when fighting a killer like Liston
