Fingers Crossed. Looks like its going to be really hard to get a channel to back boxing, it's like its being shoved under the carpet and replaced with nothing but football, golf, cricket and ****in poker for ****s sake lol
It's a shame. Setanta gave it a go but it didn't really work out for them. I just don't know if there's enough fans of boxing in the u.k. Someone posted in another thread, it's not good putting all the fights on box office as obviously the people who buy it are the same and numbers will dwindle, where as if you put it on itv more people will get hooked on it. I find it so hard to believe people can buzz more off golf than boxing!
When ITV have shown title fights (Froch vs Pascal) they had an audience of 4 million plus viewers. Thats a good figure, so the interest is definitely out there. I'd definitely get the ITV pay-per -view if they show the boxing. I'll subscribe to any channel that shows the super-six.
Which 'Brits' are delusional, the ones saying Froch will win, the ones saying Dirrell will win or the ones calling it a toss up? Or did you not actually bother reading the thread?
I think a lot of people on here just disregard the things posted and form a opinion from no where. Most people (american, English, etc) have had trouble picking a favourite.. most I would say leaning towards kessler with a fair few claiming froch is not going to make the second round.
Wait since when does Froch have a chin? That chin of his was getting straight WORKED by JT all night. Don't you remember JT's right sending Froch into a pirouet. More ballet Froch, more ballet.
Your a TROLL, go back under your bridge and scare them goats, leave the posting to those who have some idea what they are talking about.
