In good news for Australian boxing Mark “The Dominator” De Mori returns to the ring this Sunday against former Olympian, Ghana’s Ibrahim Marshall. The heavyweight boxer’s much anticipated return at the Cockburn Basketball Centre in Perth, this Sunday 12th June, will be his first fight in almost 2 years.

"Don King Promotions, who obviously see signs of greatness in the Perth slugger"

Excellent analysis - because if you had a fighter destined for greatness the first thing you would do is keep him inactive for 2 years in another country.

Don King is the last promoter any fighter should sign for these days.

The only Don King fighter who gets regular dates is Devon Alexander & thats more because of HBO rather than Don King.
King is finished as a major promoter today...has his 3 or 4 cards a year & thats all.

been talking to Mark on fb recently and he said he is going to stay with King for the time being and that things are finally falling into place. Apparently a top 20 opponent wont be far off.

my old man is funny as ****, he has the sense of humour of a person in their mid 20s but still comes out with some dumb **** and does the muttley laugh after it whilst everyone else shakes their head

Me: Have we got any beetroot?

Dad: We don't have any beetroot, but you sure can't beat a root

    Me: Wow, so lame Dad
