There was somebody else earlier in this thread who kept pecking away at you in the early part of your series ..... he seemed to have an alternate theory on Cocoa Kid.
But as the series got on the home straight he's been conspicuous by his absence.

    Maybe you converted him? :bbb

Clearly the best one yet, just crammed full of information and emotion. My two favourite things in the world.

    Awesome stuff, as usual.

I would like to hear from that guy at the start of the thread, and see what he thinks of it. I would love a discussion on this to be honest.

    Agreed.

For me what really stands out are three things -how many of those 56 losses should have been or could have been wins, his domination over Holman Williams -even when Holman was known as a puncher with good hands, and the tragic fact that he fought 38 times as a MW after having been diagnosed with Dementia Pugilistica.

There were about dozen like that that I was able to confirm. One of them had the announcer shaking in his boots when he read over the ridiculous scores before speaking into the mike. Another saw the crowd threatening the referee even though he was the one who scored the split for Cocoa Kid...

--A pleasure to write! What the hell am I gonna do with my life now?! Sometimes these big projects become like a spouse; you feel like a damn widower when it's over.
