Coincidence That Vitali Quit Right After Byrd Bashed Him Up, Clowned and Rocked Him?

The official cards were 88-83, 88-83, 89-82 for Klitschko at the end of the fight.

Vitali could have coasted to a decision win. I don't think he was in any danger of getting KO'd by Byrd.

Right now i have it 4-0 klitchko, byrd did okay in the 3rd, hes competitive but not winning. Klitchko landing right hands and better workrate, bullying byrd as espected, alot of byrds work is bodyshots, occasionaly he can tag Vitali in the face.

4-1 klitchko, Byrd dodged Kkitchkos attacks and countered well with the left, he also pushed Klitchko back with 2 lefts.

5-1 klitcho, Klitchko doesnt fall for the trap, he thoroughly outboxes Byrd from the outside landing nice jabs and rights.

6-1 Klitchko, pretty even half round both land decent punches, then the last minute byrd walk klitchko down but Klitchko is the one punching and landing.

7-1 klitchko, close round, brave and impressive pressure by byrd and he landed some nice left hands and did push klitchko back once again, but when he poses, dips ans weaves he gets hit alot, not massive shots but scoring shots so again klitchko takes the round.

7-2 klitchkos left arm by his side, and although hes still using it, its less of a tool, byrd pushes him back lands a few nice left hands and a body shot in spurts, better work overall from byrd.

Klitchkos shoulder was probably in alot of pain, but he could have won a round with his right hand only, yes ive always thought he could have walked the last 3 rounds. Byrd has zero chance of stopping Vitali Klitchko, when he did have success it was quite obvious that byrds power is below average for a heavyweight, and Vitali hadnt punched himself out either. Chris Byrd showed his usual nifty skills and bravery and toughness and made it a competitive and enjoyable fight but no chance he could of won in any circumstance but an injury.

The consensus on that fight is that Lewis was not ahead. No matter how much you try to preach on it, most people put Vitali ahead or even, even though he's significantly less popular than Lewis.

The pro byrd german crowd probably swayed alot of heads in this thread. Klitchko was well ahead on the scorecards, the anti-klitchko crowd was cheering everything byrd was doing, even if it was a barely landed punch. For some reason the crowd was supporting Byrd. We all know Byrd as good as he was and what a warrior he was, was not better than Vitali Klitchko.
