Why do some fighters have a drink of coke straight after a fight.Ive see a few of the thai fighters do this at tournament latly..:think
I've started to drink lucazade after training as it has fast acting sugars that stop the body going into a catabolic state (breaking down of muscle) and making me feel **** and tired which I did if I had nothing afterwards. I'm not sure I'd have it after a fight but each to their own...
i drink it because its refreshing, sadly i have an addiction to 7up/sprite so my parents never buy the cases anymore because id drink them each time i finished one.
The sugar takes the edge off the adrenaline. Similar to if you're in shock, and drink something fizzy.
If you want to get some simple sugars into your body after training, drink some juice instead of carbonated drinks. Fizzy drinks like coke can cause liver damage. Sort yourselves out!
Don't touch Fizzy drinks, they can destroy your body. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/a...t-touch-fizzy-drinks-Frankly-theyre-evil.html You should not copy the majority of boxers eating habbits. Most of them are in bad health, and lead ******ed lifestyles. 20min mark Bernard Hopkins speaks about fizzy drinks. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngK--EEyKU0[/ame]
forget the fizzy stuff,,,drink water and plenty of it ,,,its what you eat before & after training that matters
even bernard Hopkins has stupid diet habits. he won't eat red meat but he will drink Gatorade. he won't eat egg yolks , but he will eat jelly. :nut whole bunch of nonsense.:nut
Do you have a link to his actual research? A lot of these studies are so flawed in design it's hilarious. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMc0_s-M08I[/ame]
You talk some absolute **** mate. You believe in fairies and that ufos are trying to destroy you. You're what I like to describe as a crackpot ****. Someone who thinks he's an authority on all subjects, when all you actually know is how to finger your own bum hole.
