Valdes TKO 3 Cokkel - About the same as their fight in 1955. The british press talked about Cokkel having trouble dealing with Valdes 80" reach and powerful left jab in his face. Valdes establishing his left jab allowed him to follow up with a big straight right hand behind it, which floored cokell for an 8 count in round 1. The problem for cokell is he was short with a short reach, so he had to get inside and outwork people. However, Valdes hit so much harder, and was so much stronger so he would gladly invite cokkel inside where he could manhandle him and punish him up close vicious powerful hooks and uppercuts on the inside. Cokkell has no shot here

Moore KO 7 Cokkell- Don is definitely taking the 10 count in this one. Cokell would be outclassed here. He would walk right into Moore, Moore had the much longer reach and knew how to use it. He would land the jab, then follow up with a beautiful combination before going into his turtle shell/bob and weave defense...Cokkell had a lot of heart and would keep moving forward and throw lots of leather trying to land. Moore would easily shoulder/roll and set a trap on cokkel with a perfect counter right hand followed by a big left hook. Cokkell withstands heavy punishment but eventually Moore finishes the bleeding helpless couragious cokell in round 7. Cokkel doesnt win a round. He doesnt have the punching power to threaten moore, doesn't have the speed to land anything on him, and doesn't have the movement or durability to survive moores firepower.

Nino stops him in this match in 5 with Don taking a unhealthy amount of punishment against the ropes.

Archie and Don slug at each other from the first minute but it's Cokkel that comes off worst. Before the 4th
Dons hit the floor twice. Moore is totally in control by the 6 th and DC is looking worst for wear. A round later and Don iß down again .He bravely attempts to rise but the ref gets to count him out .

I think Moore just lays traps on don. Moore wasn’t a brawler, he was a master counter puncher who could hit really hard,
