Cole gets bashed more often than not for being an "incompetent" referee, but say what you will, I submit he did a fine job on Saturday. Until he held up his fingers for Margo, you hardly even knew he was in there. Props are in oder for Cole in this one. What do you think?
Agree. I will admit I was upset when I heard he was the ref, espeacially since it's his daddy who puts him in there, but for once he did a decent job.
Yup agreed as well. I was VERY pleasantly surprised that he was practically invisible, just as a good ref should be. He wins back a few points from me.
Cole did what he was supposed to do. This isnt amateur boxing, he shouldnt have stopped the fight even though margo was outclassed. It was Manny;s job to finish him and it was Margo's corner's job to stop it if they felt their man took too much abuse. For the record if I was in margo's corner I wouldnt have stopped it either. Margo could see, he verified that and margo was fighting back. Good job by Cole.
