    No early stoppages here and no saving the fighters. These guys don't tolerate hugging and let fights go on until the other guy really can't continue. McNelo becomes McStrawberry if it goes past 8.

    Three points:
    1. I don't think the fight will go as you envision.
    2. I think you meant the referee.
    3. Mercante and Cole SUCKS! At least I agree with you about Smoger, he is old school.

    Change JUDGE to REF. Plus they have to pick a location before they pick a ref because each state has different licensed referees.

    I thought Smoger only worked in the East Coast of the US. He's the best referee alive but Oscar wouldn't be fool enough to risk Canelo against Golovkin with "Let 'em fight" Smoger. Nah, he's gonna' want Kenny Bayless to let Canelo clinch all night.

    I went to H.S. with Cole's nephews and know Cole's Dad. LCole loves the limelight.....and I would just tell him he needs to drive the 15 miles over to JerryWorld and start promoting himself with the "powers to be" to ref the fight. (His Dad was the one that coined the term "You can stick a fork in the WBC", after the WBC / Don King tried to overturn the Tyson vs Douglas result post-fight).
